Firecracker is named after the flower that adds red color to the art. The India Ink image of the old weathered wagon wheel and deteriorating wood posts is the picture and dominates the page. The Firecracker flowers and the beautiful Humming Bird supports the art with eye catching interest.

Sunflower is the final art of the series of three 6x6 with the old wagon wheel theme. The orange blended with the yellow petals and the large petals caught my eye. I hope they catch your eye.

Looking out the dining room window during the Summer and Fall months, this hanging pot of bright red geraniums and dusty miller kept calling me to create a lasting image. Finally, I couldn't resist, and in October, I began drawing the Hanging Flowers.

Violets has been a long time in the chain of drawings. It took one last push from my wife to make Violets happen. ENJOY

Flowers with Vase is a dramatic change from my usual approach to creating art. It is an acrylic still Ife painting that does not include the application of black India Ink. Instead of using color as an accent to my drawings, the color is the art.
